Applying a new systematic fuzzy FMEA technique for risk management in light steel frame systems

Light Steel Frame (LSF) system is mainly used for construction of short and intermediate-height buildings in developed countries whereas considerable heed not given to it developing countries. Unfamiliarity LSF risks one the main reasons this averseness so risk management can remedy challenge develop its application. Hence, paper investigates considering design, operation phase. Three steps entailing identification, assessment responding using fuzzy Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) technique are suggested implementation validation responses, a novel index with respect weighted combination project quality, time cost calculated. The methodology demonstrated on pilot study country. By interview, 29 significant extracted then evaluated by proposed method. Results showed that share these 21%, 31% 48% respectively. results revealed phases higher than those design also show involving safety as object process could eventuate acceptable results.
